Terms of Use

Last updated September 11, 2026

These terms cover your use of the Routine app, made by EOTT Tech ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the app.

Read this one. Routine suggests workouts and records what you lift. It is not a doctor, a physiotherapist or a coach standing next to you. Lifting weights carries risk, and you're the one who decides whether a workout is right for you today. If something hurts, stop.

Not medical advice

The ready-made workouts, exercise demonstrations, instructions, form cues and every other piece of guidance in the app are general fitness information, not medical advice, and they're not a substitute for it. Talk to a doctor before starting a training program if you have a medical condition, an injury, are pregnant, or have any doubt about whether exercise is safe for you.

You're responsible for choosing what to train, training within your own limits, using equipment safely, and stopping when you should. Nothing in the app is tailored to an injury or a condition, and it can't see how you're lifting.

Your account

You sign in with Apple. You're responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 16 to use Routine.

Subscriptions and free workouts

You get a number of workouts free, shown in the app. After that, continuing to use the app requires a subscription. Subscriptions are sold through Apple's App Store and are governed by Apple's terms as well as these:

If your subscription lapses, your training log is not deleted — it stays on your account and is there again when you resubscribe. You can also delete all of it at any time, subscribed or not.

What you can do with the app

Use it to plan and log your own training. You may not resell it, scrape it, reverse-engineer it, use it to build a competing service, or use it in a way that breaks the law or harms other people. We may suspend accounts that do.

Your content

Your training log, notes and profile are yours. We store and process them to run the app, as described in the privacy policy, and for nothing else. You can delete all of it at any time from Settings → Delete Account.

Our content

The app, its design, its exercise library and the workouts in it belong to us or our licensors. The exercise demonstration animations are licensed from their creators and remain theirs.

Availability

We try to keep the app working, but we don't promise it will always be available, fast or free of mistakes. Signing in and syncing your log depend on third-party services and can fail or be slow; when they do, the app tells you and lets you retry, and you can keep logging offline. We may change or discontinue features.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from your use of the app or from training you do based on it. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind beyond those the law requires.

Termination

You can stop using the app at any time and delete your account from Settings. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Changes

We'll update these terms if we need to, and we'll tell you in the app before a material change takes effect. The date at the top is the date of the current version.
