The Gym Logger that trains with you.

Log every set. Or start from a ready-made workout picked for your goal and the equipment you actually have — no program to find first.

How it works

Most logging apps hand you an empty screen and assume you brought a program. Routine starts you on something sensible, remembers what you lifted, and gets out of the way.

Answer nine questions

Your goal, what you want to focus on, your experience, the equipment you can reach, anything you're training around. About a minute.

Pick a workout, or build one

31 ready-made sessions, reordered so the ones matching your goal and your kit come first. Or assemble your own from 250 exercises and save it.

Train, and it remembers

Every set you log comes back next time as the number to beat — and as a chart of how that lift has moved over months.

250 exercises, every one shown

The same animations that play beside the set you're logging — so an unfamiliar name is never a reason to skip a movement. Six of them here; the other 244 are in the app.

Barbell Back Squat
Barbell Bench Press
Barbell Deadlift
Pull Up
Dumbbell Bench Press
Barbell Bicep Curl

Built for the gym floor

Everything you need mid-set, one-handed, without thinking about the app.

Rest timer that follows you

Starts when you log a set, counts down on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, and lets you skip rest or tick off the next set without unlocking.

250 exercises, every one shown

Each movement carries an animated demonstration, step-by-step instructions and a cue, so an unfamiliar name is never a reason to skip it.

Last time, right there

Every set shows what you did in the same slot last session, and fills the fields with it. Beating it is one keystroke.

Change it mid-session

Bench occupied? Swap an exercise for a similar one. Add sets, drop an exercise, turn a set into a warm-up — the session is yours once it starts.

Notes that come back

Leave a note on an exercise — a seat height, a grip that worked — and it's waiting the next time you do that movement.

Your music, uninterrupted

Timer sounds mix with whatever you're playing instead of pausing it, and play through the silent switch. Or turn them off and keep the haptic.

What the log gives back

The reason to write it down is being able to read it later. Two places do that:

  • A training calendar. By week, by month, or all time — with workouts, sets and total volume for whatever period is on screen.
  • Every session, kept. Open any past workout to see the exercises and every set you logged, and fix the date if you wrote it up a day late.
  • A chart per exercise. Heaviest set, total volume or best reps over time, for each of the 250 movements.
  • Tap a point, see the session. Charts link back to the workout that made them, so a jump is never just a dot.
  • Pounds or kilos, your call. Switch any time. Everything is stored one way and converted for display, so old sessions stay comparable.
  • It's yours to delete. One tap in Settings removes the account, the profile and the entire log, from our server and the device.
